About the Equal Protection for Posterity Resolution
The Equal Protection for Posterity Resolution was authored in 2011 by Tom and Siena Hoefling, with the assistance of many abolitionists across the country.
The Resolution affirms that the U.S. Constitution already protects all innocent human life. Abortion — a vicious attack properly known as feticide, or, the deliberate murder of a human child in the womb — has no legitimate basis in law because it is grossly immoral, and because it violates the equal protection and due process guarantees of the United States Constitution.
The authors of the Resolution believe that the decades-long abortion holocaust will end in this country practically overnight once our officers of government — in all the branches and at all levels of governance -- simply resolve to uphold their constitutional oath to secure the equal right to life to everyone, including those at the earliest stages of human development.
Unless aimed at full, equal protection, as required by the Constitution, statutes that are crafted to please the Supreme Court, and its posterity-extinguishing agenda, only serve to assure that feticide will continue in some form under governmental protection. Therefore, signers of the Resolution pledge to withhold support from candidates and organizations that fail to support, without compromise, the equal protection of all innocent persons — born or unborn.
The defense of unborn human beings requires impartial justice. No matter the judgments or opinions of courts, or the compromised laws of our legislatures, or the nonfeasance of our executives, the supreme law of our land absolutely guarantees equal protection under the law for all innocent persons by the federal, and all of the state, governments. The Resolution reminds Americans that the Constitution is not merely a guide or a set of principles. It is binding upon all. The Constitution is the supreme law of our land which compels all the officers, of all the departments of government, to "secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity." Every officer is explicitly, imperatively required to fulfill its guarantees, to make absolutely certain that no individual human being ever slips through the cracks by dereliction or oppression.
A simple regard for the oath of office, matched by action, will quickly end abortion in America.
